Duties and Accreditations: Jessica is a Licensed Life & Health Agent and a Licensed Property & Casualty Agent. She is pursuing a designation as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, a Compensation Management Specialist, a Group Benefits Associate, and a Retirement Plans Associate. Jessica is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association, and the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia.
Personal: Jessica received a Masters of Business Administration from Radford University after obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Radford University. She is a member of the Young Professional Council, the Powell Valley Primary School PTA, the Wise County Public Schools Parental Advisory Council, the Wise County Chamber of Commerce, the Wise County Women’s Investment Club Committee, the Wellmont Foundation Board of Governors, the Kiwanis Club of Norton, the University of Virginia’s College at Wise Foundation Board, First Baptist Church of Big Stone Gap, and Kings Christian Academy. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys gardening, coaching Upward Basketball and T-Ball for the Big Stone Gap Little League, riding ATVs, and spending time with her two children.

Duties and Accreditations: Kenny is a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, the Professional Insurance Agents Association, the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, and the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia. Kenny has the ability to handle the complexities of Personal, Commercial, and Life & Health insurance as well as Agency Management.
Personal: Prior to joining the team, Kenny worked with Appalachia Insurance Agency and Westmoreland Coal Co. Kenny’s involvement in community service includes Past President and member of the Kiwanis Club of Norton, and is the Chairman of the Wise County Industrial Development Authority and the Norton Community Hospital Foundation. Kenny attended Clinch Valley College (now the University of Virginia’s College at Wise) where he received Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In his spare time, Kenny enjoys golfing and traveling.

Duties and Accreditations: Ryan is a Certified Insurance Counselor, a Licensed Property and Casualty Agent, and a Licensed Life and Health Agent.
Personal: Ryan received a Master’s of Business Administration from Appalachian State University after obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Emory and Henry College. Prior to joining the agency he worked with the Wise County School system as Marketing teacher, Varsity baseball, and Varsity football coach at Powell Valley High School. Ryan is Past President and current member of the Board of Directors of the Big Stone Gap Kiwanis Club, Past President and member of the Board of Directors of The Gap Partnership, member of Ballad Health Lonesome Pine Hospital Board of Directors, and member of Mountain Empire Community College Foundation Board of Directors. Ryan and Wife Elizabeth reside in Big Stone Gap with their three children Katelynn, Everett and Loren.

Duties and Accreditations: Mike is a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors since 1985, the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia, and the Professional Insurance Agents Association. His educational background includes the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Insurance School and the Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania – Commercial Insurance.
Personal: Mike attended Milligan College before obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 1981. He is a board member of the GAP Partnership. Mike is the current vice-chair of the Ballad Lonesome Pine Hospital Board, and a member of the University of Virginia’s College at Wise’s Board. He also co-hosted the popular weekly radio show “Pigskin Picks.”
Mike continues to stay active in the region and currently Resides in Big Stone Gap with his wife Mary Beth, a retired kindergarten teacher. They have two children: daughter Lauren Mottern and son John Michael Allen. Lauren resides in Knoxville TN with her husband Tyler, son James Arrington Mottern, and daughter Rebecca LuAnn Mottern. John Michael resides in Nashville, TN with his wife, Toy Gathings Allen.

Personal: After graduating from Powell Valley High School in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, he attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Insurance and completed his Masters of Business Administration Degree. While attending East Tennessee State University he also completed the advanced ROTC Program, receiving a Commission as Second Lieutenant. He served in the US Army Quartermaster corps from April 24, 1971- May 31, 1974. While serving in the Army he was promoted to First Lieutenant and received the Army Commendations Metal.
Winston continues to reside in Big Stone Gap, Virginia with his wife, Judith Ann Witt. They have two children Ryan Witt and Jessica Parrott and five grandchildren, Berkley and Jaxon Parrott and Katelynn, Everett and Loren Witt. His close ties with his family, friends and community have given him insight into the needs of local businesses and the citizens of this area. Winston enjoys farming, hunting, fishing, golfing and most outdoor activities.
